Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to
All my Loyal Adventure Travelers and Followers
From Wild William
2022
Well, here we are again with my not so annual Christmas / New Years greeting to my loyal family, friends and followers of adventure!
During these past strange couple of years, I’ve still managed a few trips in to the world here and there. I still have a wanderlust inside me and search out adventure at every corner. The adventures have just been a bit more prosaic due to the restrictions of the world… Covid-19… ‘nuf said!
Rather than write endlessly, here are some of the highlights of the year
- 2021 started still unemployed but with traction on interviews improving.
- I kept alive and sane by substitute teaching, and some independent consulting for a couple of small businesses.
- Finally, in March I received an employed offer from Balbix (www.balbix.com) while on my annual sojourn to Longboat Key Florida.
- Which of course allowed me to enjoy a beautiful month of March in the sunshine and beaches of Longboat Key, Florida with my parents.
- April brought the annual Mooch golf trip with the guys. This year we headed to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Alabama. Finally some great weather!
- May brought the start of my new job and an immediate vacation of 10 days to Belize for diving and exploring (read about it here)
- In July we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the the fabulous and always entertaining Spring family.
- August brought the Nolan clan from DC in the glamper to tour the great state of MI. We had a blast visiting on Mackinac Island.
- The fall brought an incredible run by my boys in blue during the football season!
- December found me taking a quick 4 day relaxing trip to Phoenix, AZ for visits with old friends, new friends and lots of golf!
- Finally quietly ringing in the New Year in the hot tub after a painful Michigan loss to Georgia.
So without further ado, below are the pics to peruse and enjoy. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all, and to all, wild travels!
I’m with Eric, but I’d call it a ‘tash! 😉 Please please please tell me you kept the handlebars (and not the mutton chops!)…..
Love you Bill and GO BLUE!
Happy New Year, Bill! You look happy!
But the most important question still unanswered…does the ‘stache live??
